The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Law “On amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine (re activity of the National Guard of Ukraine)”

The bill (Reg. No. 4781) suggests, within the limits of the approved number of the National Guard of Ukraine, separately determine the number of military men and civilians (state servicemen and employees); specify the procedure and cases of using firearms; and settle other issues connected with reforming of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine into a new structure.

Committee members upheld the bill, adoption of which will allow secure efficient use of forces and facilities of the National Guard in the course of performing its tasks.
